The underlying assumption of the kids at the NYT is correct. They want to control the narrative in an even tighter way and the adults in the room can’t even say no to riots and looting. If they throw a fit they’ll get their way. Of course. Boomers can’t say no.
And why would anyone think these kids care what most the nation thinks? They are engaged in political warfare. Their goal isn’t to reflect the views of the people, but to change and control them.
They’ve been taught to control the narrative and fight those who oppose them by shutting them down with force since they were in school—which is were they taught it is justified and learned how it’s done.
Let the NYT stop pretending it’s anything other than a part of political op. And stop sending them opeds which they use to pretend they’re something else when it suits ‘em. Their audience isn’t going to listen to you anyhow—they only want to hear what the kids want to publish.
