This is an essential worker being arrated for being out past the #nycurfew. He knows he is allow to be out and so do the NYPD, they don't care.

I dont want to put peoples lives at risk, nor their livelihoods. Delivery workers do you have advice?
It is just beyond me that reasonable people could think this makes sense. The man is clearly delivering food, asks the officers to show proof he is a delivery worker on the app, as he was instructed too and they just arrest him anyway.
More than that, the NYPD put him in the back of a cop car with 2 other people. There ia a global pandemic. NY was the epicenter just weeks ago. Unnecessarily arresting someone potentially exposing them to a deadly disease is completly unconscionable.
UPDATE: DoorDash tells NY1 that the delivery worker whose arrest was captured on video WAS on the job, refuting what police sources told NY1 earlier in the day.

Per @bopinion: "In a tour de force of hard won reporting, the New York Times has put numerical clothing on what we’ve known about President Trump for years:

He’s a haphazard businessman, human billboard and serial bankruptcy artist" trib.al/hggQz0K
"But @TimOBrien wants us to focus on what the tax returns reveal about Trump as president. Because of his:

✅Indebtedness
✅Reliance on overseas income
✅Refusal to distance himself from his business

Trump represents a profound national security threat" trib.al/hggQz0K
"According to the Times, Trump has about $421 million in debts which he has personally guaranteed and which are coming due over the next several years.

But @TimOBrien believes Trump’s overall indebtedness is greater than that" trib.al/hggQz0K

Its so weird watching TV and movies where people are living and interacting like things use to be. I miss those times.
Its so hard to watch pre covid TV or movies without thinking, "what are they doing, thats way to close, they are sharing [food, cups, anything], its an indoor event RUN!" Just to be clear that is all TV and movies, I dont think much of anything has been produced in the covid era.
Watching French people kissing hello on a TV show the other night was so triggering. Like, thats not allowed!

Are cover letters still a thing?
Does anyone in HR or hiring actually read cover letters? I have nothing to say relative to my competency. Sure if you are a tech company looking to find a work-culture fit I guess get wanting to know "about me." But law firms, wouldn't you rather just have a legal writing sample?
Why do I have to sneak in backdoor brags, quirky experience, and platitudinal antidotes into an awkward paragraph about how I can make their company better? If an employer is interested aren't they just going to google me?
