What if these protests, like many of the past, do not yield results? What if results can be created by social media/letters/calls/ads use? What if protests can be done with more masks/distancing than what we have seen? What about all African Americans that Covid will kill?

The above “expert” is one of many who pushed for prolonged lockdowns depsite the fact that those things cause a spike in suicides; spike in ODs; spike in healthcare job losses; spike in special needs children — all of it WORSE among minorities!

This moment proves that to shutdown debate in the name of “science & data” is mental black mail, because all those experts are human and have breaking points as to what is and what is not important to let a virus spiral out of control. For some people it is to protest
police brutality/racism (which BTW if protests fixes all then why do we still need to protest about this). For some other people protests are ok but so is to make sure that lives/livelihoods are not destroyed by a prolonged lockdown. Just TODAY, we saw data that Unemployment
last month held steady for African Americans but it improved for whites. Basically, the economic mess created by the prolonged lockdowns is hurting minorities worse than whites. Hmmmm, so wny not open fully in name of helping minorities? Morally bankrupt, political hacks.
