As I have been for the past four years.... campaigning on the streets even prior to the EU Referendum. The more I explored, the more I realised that it could go south, and I was dead worried. Justifiably so.

Campaigning on the streets was as much to alleviate anxiety, as to make a difference. The big money, and the powerful activity on Social Media swung it for Leave. That 'activity' involved hundreds of millions of people viewing credible, powerful, but entirely untruthful ads.
Democracy does not involve deceiving people with military grade psi-ops, propaganda that Stalin or Goebbels would have been proud. And then an illegal overspend on the lies ...which curiously were not 'illegal' because it was a 'non binding' referendum, more of an opinion poll..

The fact that our countryside will become unrecognizable. Our amazing bio-diversity will be trashed. Watching #Springwatch last night - hedgerows will be stripped. UK farmland will become a low grade mass production, US prairie. With sheds of animals pumped with poison.
On top of the break up and sell off, or simple upping sticks of the large companies that have made the UK their home, due to its membership of the Single Market.
Don't forget that almost every Brexiteer promised Leave voters that the UK's access to the Single Market would not be questioned.

So - here I am, still campaigning. Liars make me angry. It's just how it is. Brexit supporters are comfortable with liars - that is their issue. However many Leave voters are now incandescent - they realise how they have been conned.

The problem is that the principled people who fought by the rules - Dominic Grieve for example - were kicked out of the Conservative party.
Any principled MPs (on the other side of the fence) are at a loss as to what to do - because they will fight by the rules.

Dominic Grieve should release the Russia Report - but he would never do so. Because he fights by the rules. The current Govt is breaking every rule in the book. Tearing down our democracy.
Excluding all but 50 MPs from Parliament, and the inexcusable ban on remote participation - being just one recent but awful example.
If anyone still thinks it will all be ok.... well they now have the Govt's response to Coronavirus as a reference point. All the effective actions to fight Coronavirus were taken by private citizens, before the Govt took action.
Companies shut their doors. FIFA banned matches. Most importantly - Doctors closed the doors of NHS surgeries. The areas where this did not happen - often the poorest - have had the worst death tolls. The Surgeries spread the virus.
And now the Govt is making it mandatory for all staff in hospitals to wear masks. Now?!!? This should have been months ago. An awful fact is that most NHS staff who died of Coronavirus caught it because they were not given PPE, and were in the normal, as opposed to Covid wards.
And, drum roll, the Govt will make it mandatory to wear masks on public transport, in a week's time!

This Coronavirus scandal was of the Govts responsibility. Of the Govt's making. Look at Greece. Look at NZ. For insight into the correct, and obvious responses needed.
The Govt will be doing worse with regard to Brexit - because it is more complex and more complex than the response required for a pandemic.
The time for direct action is now. If you are a farmer. Waiting for your farm to be destroyed. Our food standards to be trashed. Time to get a convoy of tractors - drive to downing St. and drown the street in silage?
No Deal becomes inevitable by the 30th June. If it is not already.
