There's a reason why almost 90% of NSW remains in 'recovering from drought' or 'in drought'. In fact, most of Australia was drier than usual in June. @BOM_au
Timeframes matter, though. Here's the past six months, which helps explain why much of eastern Australia has a green sheen of late: @BOM_au
