There is hope as cracks appear in the Trump Wall of silence.
"The decision to gas protesters so President Donald Trump could hold a photo-op holding a Bible were criticized by a Republican senator on Friday as cracks start to emerge in Republicans’ support for the president."

So Murkowski, now Tim Scott, 89 former high ranking officials, Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Madeleine Albright, General Mattis, General Flynn, Republicans Against Trump, Republicans for the Rule of Law, Project Lincoln are all openly condemning Trump for his corruption and his

wanton defiance of the rule of law, morality, decency, and the Constitution. These people have collectively more than one hundred years of experience in domestic and foreign affairs, of diplomacy and wartime. They have deep understanding of government. And they all are

expressing alarm at Trump's obvious ignorance of the law, and especially the Constitution. They see the danger of losing our democracy to dictatorship. And so they had to abandon the long established norm of resisting criticism of current administrations. This departure

should frighten all of us to our bones. Should Congress not take immediate steps to remove him from power, we very well could be witnessing the demise of our republic. The @GOP holds the power to remove him virtually overnight, and with a bipartisan 2/3 majority vote in both

Houses, remove him permanently from office. @SenateGOP must realize that they betrayed America in the impeachment trial, and admitted he was guilty of the charges. The acquittal was perhaps the biggest political mistake in our history. Adam Schiff warned us all of the damage

that Trump would cause in the months before the election. "A LOT! A LOT OF DAMAGE!" Now that we have seen the horrific decimation he has wrought upon our people and our democracy, it is paramount that the Republican party stay true to their oath to protect the people from this

power drunk tyrant before it is too late. He will find a way to dictatorship. We can all see it developing in real time. If the GOP fails us now, in will mean the end of our precious republic, replaced by an autocracy.
Tomorrow morning, it is predicted that there will be a

massive throng of protesters that will descend on Washington, perhaps as large as the historic day when MLK delivered his Dream Speech at the Lincoln Memorial. The message to the GOP will be clear: listen to the people and remove the corrupt tyrant from office or face a blue

wave that will render your party impotent in the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. A mandate from the people condemning the shredding of decency, morality, ethics, environmental protections, government oversight and respect for the rule of law that you allowed on your

watch. The pendulum will swing toward compassion, empathy, and responsibility for our planet and our descendents. A rejection of the wholesale gluttony of the Trump administration. A return of serving we the people, not we the oligarchy.
The nation looks to Congress to do the

right thing. Let the cracks in the wall bring it crashing down. Let our nation return to its essence of truth, justice and the pursuit of happiness for the people, not the wealthy few. Please retweet if you agree.
