But I see race. And class. I react differently to people of different appearance and accent.

@Lynn14159 @redalphababe I have tried to make my unconscious bias more conscious so I can counter it. I try to prevent unconscious bias from influencing how I feel about people.

I try to notice and make amends when I get it wrong.

I know that denying my biases will only entrench their expression.

Being against racism (and the other isms) means acknowledging them in yourself and constantly working on them, not denying them.
