1) This was trickery (‘māyā’), not ‘rape’. Neither Skanda-purāṇa (SkaPu) nor Śiva-purāṇa (ŚiPu) use any word (e.g. ‘balātkāra’, ‘dharṣaṇa’ etc.) which can be even remotely translated as ‘rape’ . Both use the word ‘māyā’.
