Conversations on racism in African countries didn't just come up

We had been just been silenced for so long.

There's always someone to justify your racist experience, someone to poverty shame you in some way and make you feel embarrassed for speaking out.
There's always that person caping for the whiteness they wish they possessed.

White men have unpaid foot soldiers in form of black men with two shillings in their pocket and access to white spaces.

The ones who will tell you that " you're not the target audience"
You will be reminded how you are poor and are only complaining because you can't afford the offerings that the white spaces offer.

Your denial of humanity will be justified by their access and "better-than-you-negroes" experiences and you will shamed into silence
You might even believe the justifications that they have

"It's not racism,it's just that white people tip more than Africans and they're not paid well so it's just an economic decision"

The justifications sound logical and tries to move you away from critical questions
There will always be people unwilling to see the creative ways in which racism replicates and supports itself through rules and regulations because the current political environment doesn't allow it to thrive out loud.
There's always going to be the person defending their racist establishment even without hearing the facts.

People who can't reconcile their proximity to racism. People who see their treatment because of their money as a solution as opposed to the problem
You know when you're treated differently because of your race even before studies and statistics . You know it. You can't fully explain it all the time but you know it. You know that there will be someone who wasn't there convincing you against believing your lived experience
