I agree, taking pickup advice from a girl is asking the fish, not the fisherman, but in this case, it might help to hear from the fish what major turn-offs are.
How Not To Be Creepy
THREAD 1/
We react by how we *feel.*
And there’s a lot of verbal and non-verbal inputs that women are constantly (and instantly) analyzing on a subconscious level.
2/
When you approach a girl, make sure to leave an ‘exit’ in an least three directions.
Putting your hand on a wall and trapping us against it is super creepy.
We may laugh and seem like we are enjoying, but that is a defense mechanism.
Feeling physically trapped is scary.
3/
Looking at your feet displays lack of confidence. Gross.
Intense, never blinking eye contact- also creepy.
It’s okay to discretely check out our rack once or twice, we didn’t wear that push-up bra for nothing.
But staring only at my tits is creepy.
4/
Greasy = creepy.
Shouldn’t have to say this, but bathe yourself. With soap. In a shower or tub, not the sink. Use actual shampoo on your hair. And brush your teeth. Finish with deodorant.
Do these things daily.
Yes, us girls can tell when you don’t. Instant turn off.
5/
Women are very sensitive to smell, and yes, IT AFFECTS OUR FEELINGS ABOUT YOU.
Go to a department store, try a cologne you like on your wrist, & ask a woman passing if she likes it.
Don’t ask the salesgirl. She gets paid when you buy it & she doesn’t care.
Don’t overdo.
6/
Women judge you by your clothes. Fact. Deal with it.
Your favorite t-shirt from college that only sort of still fits?
Ditch it.
Yes, there will be gold diggers that can recognize the difference between Armani & Versace, but those girls probably aren’t worth your time.
7/
Most (good) girls will assess your clothes as follows:
•Cleanliness
•Fit (does it fit well?)
and
•Style
Go classic over trendy so we don’t think you’re gay.
8/
Masculine watch? Yes
Gold chains, especially more than one? Creepy
Man Satchel? Gay
Oh, and yes, we *are* looking at your shoes. (If you can’t be bothered to take care of your shoes, how will you take care of us??)
9/
It’s up to YOU to work on your actual game.
And that part you should learn from other men.
