In conjunction with @Blacknanimated, ASG has gathered over 40+ Union Professionals to review Portfolios for Black Artists. Submissions will be open for 24hrs from June 17th, 12pm-June 18th, 12pm. Below are resources to help everyone organize portfolios. Contact us with questions.
This guide will help you organize your portfolio website to keep it clear and direct. When applying for jobs you want your portfolio to highlight your best work. Leave out anything distracting. This is also an example of a free site.

Tip - When choosing the work for your portfolio choose YOUR BEST WORK, quality work holds more weight then an overwhelming amount of work. Make sure to update your portfolio with current work every month as you apply to jobs.
Tip - Color Design Portfolios : 3-5 colored characters, 3-5 colored props (The more complex the better), and 1-2 colored FX. Composing over blurred BGs is ideal to give context. Use #CreditColoredDesigners for more professional examples. More resources at @colordesign839.
Tip - Animation Portfolio - Tailor your reel to the job you're going for. It's important to show solid acting/dialogue and characters interacting. Show you understand the principles of animation. If you have animation cut your reel with your best work.
