@S_Coughlin_DC I would think asymptomatic shedding of a virus would be next to impossible as the symptoms are the vehicles through which the virus is shed: sneezing, coughing, runny nose, etc. The fever is the body's attempt to eliminate favorable environment for the virus.
@S_Coughlin_DC Asymptomatic and contagious seem contradictory, so I have more researching to do.
@S_Coughlin_DC I think this would have to be contingent on the viral load.
@S_Coughlin_DC Here's the screw-up:

"Editor's Note: This story was updated on May 19 to clarify that viral RNA,(( not infectious virus)), was detected in the story on COVID-19 virus shedding."

@S_Coughlin_DC And it is RNA that is collected for the Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test. Now they get confused between an intact virus and pieces of its RNA! They think RNA = Infection, which it does not. For that we get longer lockdown.
