#GeorgeFloyd [of blessed memory] and matters arising.
Pls watch this video!👇
Thanks so much for sharing this. From what I read about Abraham Lincoln in particular, I've always known that he was a reluctant "emancipator" of slaves. We have to cut him some slack in the context
of the time he lived, however. The rest did not surprise me. The US army was still segregated under President Eisenhower to a large extent, while JFK was a beacon of hope.
In the end, though, like the callous murder of George Floyd has shown, black folk have always been given
the short end of the stick since the beginning of time it seems. The cultural significance of protests such as those we are witnessing today may have originated from the American civil rights movement of the 1960s, but they are still very relevant event today. It is important to
show our kids this video so that they know where we are coming from, even if where we are headed remains vague!
But for God's uncommon benevolence, the black race would have perished from the surface of the earth given the magnitude and degree of suffering we have been forced
to endure for centuries and counting. And we are only talking about the physical abuse here. The psychological impact is, ofcourse, incalculable.
"Robbers Enter a House, Asks for all the Money
and Valuables.
After they collect what they can, they give the
man of the house, a gun with instructions to
shoot his wife, or else he should be shot himself.
The man gets the gun, points it at his wife, and
hesitates.
He is thinking of what he has gone through in life with his wife and how she has suffered and sacrificed for him.
He hands back the gun and says, “I am sorry I
can’t do this…
“The boss of the robbers silently grabs the gun
from him and passes it on to the wife with the
same instruction.
The wife gets the gun and without any single
hesitation points to her husband’s head and pulls the trigger. But at last, the gun had no bullets in it. The robbers get their gun and walk out of the house laughing.
This picture will break you after melting you; this is the governor of Nasarawa State Engr Abdullahi A Sule consoling a boy who had just lost his father. The boy wrecked by grief sat helplessly by the remains of his father who has become a heap of sand- the
boy, will forever not see his darling father again. It was the helplessness of the boy in his grief-stricken state that caught the attention of the governor who had come to bury his own son and walked to the boy.
United in same tragedy, the boy and the governor found solace in each other. This picture is embedded in deep message, just when you think your woes are worst, you are reminded of others' more gripping woes. Stricken by the death of his first son, the governor saw a boy
BVN: We refused to do on time. We cried for extension.
REGISTER FOR NIN: We did not do. We demanded for extension.
LINK THE NIN TO PHONE LINE: We vehemently refused until lines were blocked and yet we demanded extension.
REGISTER FOR PVC: We refused to do till the last minute. We demanded for extension.
COLLECT THE PVC: Whosaii!! Even after they were brought to our wards, we refused to collect. We want an extension.
DEPOSIT OLD NAIRA NOTES: For where? The deadline must be extended.
The way we rationalise and defend our 'right' to demand for extensions, I am seriously thinking that the national assembly should pass a bill to include the extension of the deadline for every national exercise in the Nigerian constitution.

As a matter of fact, he was the Chairman, Security Sub-Committee of PDP Convention held on October 30 & 31, 2021. Today, he is the new Chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC) under an APC government. The PSC is the only agency constitutionally with
I could remember that Peter Obi came to power on the 17th March 2006 while the famous Onitsha crisis, which led to the killings of Northerners, occurred on the 21st and 22nd of February 2006. That was almost a month gap.
Our first meeting with Obi also coincided with his first visit to the town; all arrangements were done to receive the first citizen of the state and also to explain our predicament to him at that moment. As refugees in Army Barrack Onitsha, we took him from the
barrack round to the affected areas of the crisis such as Bida Road central to see some houses burnt within the area, and then to Oba of Yoruba house and palace that was razed down along sokoto and Ifejika streets, then down to bridge head market by the express, where all Northern
Ex- President Obasanjo removed Senate Presidents at will, removed any opposing voice, removed Fayose for a small insult, and removed Ladoja with thugs in Ibadan. Who are you calling “DICTATOR”? BUHARI.
Ex-President OBJ withheld Lagos State fund for 3 years, not minding how Lagosians would eat, Yaradua got there and released the fund.
NASS members were abusing President Buhari openly, messing up everything at will; Gov. Fayose has been abusing President Buhari for 4 years now.
Not a single State in Nigeria has been denied their constitutional rights because of politics till date, all their funds, Paris fund and bail out, FAAC etc. But who is the DICTATOR? BUHARI.
Ex-President Jonathan ensured that NASS opposition members were locked out including
