Anyone else feel like this is inadequate? This is not the first time Feminist Frequency has carried water for a man who mistreats women. (Joss Whedon anyone?) Furthermore, the org takes money from groups that would otherwise be accused of misogyny.

What we've seen of the upcoming Last of Us 2 violates many of FF's principles against violent content and men using women as props. Furthermore there are still unanswered questions about Amy Hennig's departure from the company.
The issue is not whether these men at guilty or innocent. The issue is that other companies have been piiloried for far less, and a chill has been cast over the entire industry by an org that now appears guilty of rank hypocrisy.
When someone is accused of abuse of ANYONE and you know them personally, you take it up with them immediately. And if their answers don't sit well, you don't wait for them to block you. You do the hard thing and you distance yourself, even if that means losing crash space.
Note that I'm not saying that you call them out. That can be dangerous if they truly are abusive. But you need a reason other than "I failed. This is the work" to justify turning a blind eye and worse, continuing to benefit from association with those who have done bad things.
I have made my choices in life, been open about them, and taken my lumps. Because of this I've been ostracized by the very feminist groups that are now going "Oops. Our bad." This is not a bug. This is a feature of certain world views.
It's really easy for bad actors to buy cover from groups looking for financial benefits. The idea of a card game where the entire purpose is being offensive as possible having any connection to Feminist Frequency was absurd on its face. The hypocrisy there didn't just start.
Maybe women like me can now stop being accused of bad feminism, or worse, bad womening, because we may offend you, but for God's sake, at least we're consistent.
