The beauty about mental sports? You get better with time

Father time favors you unlike other sports
'Do I need to invest in a mental sport?'

You don't have too

But I recommend you do...
To understand why, you need to understand a phrase called entropy

It sounds like a scary word, but it's an easy concept
Entropy is defined as 'the gradual decline into disorder.'

And anything with matter is subject to entropy
Your electronics, will one day stop working

Roads crack

Human body gets old & die
'Yea but those are matter. The mind isn't matter though!'

That's incorrect

The mind is matter
In certain paradigms we are taught mind & matter are different.

While in reality....

☆Mind and matter are under the same boat

☆Consciousness is in a boat of it's own
Ongoing effort into meditation allows you to make the mind into matter

Which allows you to control it at will

Like you control raising your arms
When you meditate, you notice your mind going from thought to thought, right?

'Right...'

But every now and then, theres something that makes you AWARE that you got distracted, right?

'Hm....right.'
So if your mind is going from thought to thought, the who the fuck is making you AWARE that you got distracted?

'Oh shit....'

That's consciousness
You don't just try to control the mind

You try to become more aware.

And the mind becomes controlled

Read this tweet again.
The mind & matter are under the same boat.

And if all matter is subject to entropy... then what does that mean for the mind?

'The mind too is subject to entropy.'
Yes my friend

Unless you take care of the mind, it will gradually decay

And the level of chaos will rise
Signs of a High Entropy Mind:

☆victimhood
☆overly negative
☆snake
☆gossips incessantly
☆overly anxious
☆quitter
☆0 ambition

Etc
'Shit bro. Real talk you're describing me.'

And do you play any mental sports?

'I didnt even know this was a thing until this thread.'

All good. Better late than never playa
A mental sport is a skilled act that requires exertion

Meaning that you need to challenge the mind
For most sports, father time catches up with you

Meaning, after a certain age, you gotta hang it up

You can't be playing in the NBA at age 60
With mental sports, father time FAVORS you

You age like fine wine & just get better
The beauty?

Investing in a mental sport lowers the entropy of your mind.

It keeps you sharp as a tact
My mental sport is storytelling

And I got different drills for it

I do YouTube, Twitter threads, daily emails, blogs etc.

All that stuff keeps my mind sharp
I know others who tell jokes

One of my good friends is a comedian.

He does improv, does Instagram skits, and roasts his friends in good fun
Whatever your mental sport is, be loyal too it

Always give it attention

Bc your mental sport keeps you sane in this chaotic world
With the internet, you can build a business out of your mental sport

People love to witness others becoming great in real time...

Its beautiful to their subconscious
But if you are lowkey, that's good too

Do your mental sport for YOU first.

If you want an audience you can

But that's optional
The mind needs constant training to avoid entropy

But the more you lower your entropy, the higher you enhance your consciousness
