1/4 Today is a weirdly special day for me. One year ago today, I purchased and played #VampireTheMasqueradeBloodlines for the very first time, where I played a Tremere (I did the quiz, don’t judge). [THREAD] ImageImage
2/4 I knew nothing about the #WorldOfDarkness or #VtM, I only got it because people who had reviewed/critiqued Vampyr kept conparing it to #VtMB. I fell in love immediately with the setting.
3/4 This buggy masterpiece would send me down a large ravenous rabbit hole into an incredibly addictive pleasure-dome, in addition to me meeting some beautifully amazing people that would become some amazing friends.
4/4 Just as importantly, it would also provide some interesting baby-steps to the development of the #LoreByNight #podcast and the amazing supportive community known as the #Vamily.

I've seen criticisms like this a lot & it just goes to show how stupid 'fans' of #VampireTheMasuqerade are not knowing the grander themes of the game & the Lasombra. Allow me to waffle about why the relationship is perfect for showing its themes in this thread. [SPOILERS]
Ok, so we all know about the main crux of VtM. Not only do we have all the normal scary things to worry about, but as a Kindred, we have to worry about the personal crisis of coming to terms of being a vampire and the fight that we have with our degrading humanity.
This is a REALLY important factor for all games of VtM, regardless of edition or sect that you are playing, even more so for VtM V5, the version this visual novel is basing its narrative and lore of.

Julia being of Clan Lasombra addresses this point in many important ways.

With regards to Brian getting the sack from VtMB 2 and my previous (now deleted) tweets, I have had more time to reflect on things rather than going trigger happy with one's emotions

One can presume from this he is not being replaced, for that would probably have been announced about the same time. It would mean the writing is done and won't be altered anymore. His writing, and that of the talented team, will probably still be in...
...the game, which is good. It also means that the team can focus on perfecting what they have and not recode things, for scenes and dialogues have changed. This I believe is a good thing.

I bought some new World of Darkness books from @DriveThruRPG for the V20 Vampire: The Dark Ages game I am planning. The British Isles is not mentioned in the corebook and 2+ players are super religious. The other book has Dragons, Hippogryphs & fucking Unicorns. Really #Vamily! ImageImageImageImage
British Isle's is the one I'm starting with, as the game will be set on the British Isles and I love it already, just because it just states that Robin Hood Prince of Thieves is a crap film (or crap at the Robin Hood mythos if we are going to be pedantic).
It is really weird seeing counties I know in a VtM book. I'm so used to seeing Europe this and America that. To see my county as one of The Baronies of Avalon is super cool to me.

The Cainite who rules it seems pretty cool too :3

As my iPhone 5S is practically on life support now, I have been forced to purchae a new phone. Motorola E6 or something like that. It’s nice to own an android again and not be fucked over by Apple Image
I have to say that it’s weird to use, only cause my little baby hands are not used to using bigger screens 😂. But you know what they say, it’s not how big the boat is, it’s the motion of the ocean 😏...

#Vamily. Observe these two photos. If you do this with me, chances are, I will not have anything to do with you.

Allow me to indulge as to why...
The individual here has no real intention of supporting what I do really. They probably know who/what I am and are trying to grab my attention. At the very least, they know I post a lot of VtM stuff and know we are potentially ‘compatible’, for lack of a better word.
But that’s the problem. We aren’t. It’s not that they have a little following and I deem myself bigger and better. I’m not. The next tweet I write could blacklist my arse twice over and send me into Final Death quicker before I say Society of Leopold.
