plus regular sermons over how bad Hinduism is. Enter online classes. The schools don't have any control over what the children are wearing. You can enforce a uniform (for how long?) but can you control the minutes like hair make or religious paraphernalia?
With a parent overhearing/closely scrutinizing and with every chance of things being recorded, can a teacher dare curse religion, or even bring religion into the class discussion? And with shoddy teaching standards revelaed in no time,
can religious affiliation still be more important than quality output? Yes. The cartel is cornered because of online classes. The best parents can do is to use the window to the fullest - teach your children what you hold dear to your heart -
your way of life, your ethics and morals, your religion. Even if a decent percentage of students question the reimposition once the schools open, it's going to cause a serious crisis. English? Go for Rajaji's or RK Narayan's Mahabharata and Ramayana.
History? Moral studies? Teach whatever you can. There is much more outside the text books. Parallel to this, try to turn your kids towards interesting but advanced topics - MIT Scratch(can you convert a textbook lesson into a Scratch animation?)
Or introduction into coding(Google Teachable Machine) and what not. Archive.org has a whole dump of books which really matter(on religion and Indian history). Ask a Vedic Scholar to take online classes. There are many you can do to make India a different country.
And the most important thing, literally none of them cost you anything. You just need to show some interest and allot some time, that's all.
