We’ve been busy cataloguing #zine donations to add to the #NMLZineLibrary - including “Proud Child of Immigrants” by @jbistheinitial, reflecting on their experience of being a child of immigrant parents and considering identity. (1/5)
“Five things I wish I’d learnt at school about Empire” by @eddiepile - a zine about British colonial histories inspired by @fillinthblanks (3/5)
“Home is where the heart is” by Aiden Frere-Smith - a photographic project documenting homelessness and rough sleepers in aid of @NozSoupMovement (4/5)
And “Funny weather we’re having at the moment isn’t it dear?” by Kate Evans - everything you didn’t want to know about climate change but probably should find out.
All will be available in our #zinelibrary - we will let you know a new launch date as soon as we can! (5/5)

#WorldBookDay2020 is coming and we have some lovely events coming up to celebrate! Firstly the team from @NorwichCastle will be with us for a Calligraphy Workshop. Thurs 5th, 3:30pm-5:30pm. Free, no need to book, materials provided, find them on the ground floor!
@NorwichCastle Looking for something for the little ones? For ages 0-5 why not come along to a FREE yoga session with @minimonkeygym - Friday 6th at 11:15am in the Children's Library. No need to book, but it may be busy so we reserve the right to manage numbers.
@NorwichCastle@minimonkeygym Not a public event, but we're delighted that @hingham_sch year 2s will be spending part of their #WorldBookDay with us for a school visit- we're so excited they'll be with us on such an important literary day!
DAVID SHENTON - (in his own words...) David Shenton is really old now, and his cartoons have appeared for the past forty odd years in and on many British newspapers, journals, zines, t-shirts, bar room walls and even a gravestone in Highgate Cemetery.
But wait - there's more! Download the free Spydus app to manage your library services anywhere, anytime. Search for books, reserve items, download eBooks and eAudio, even review items you've loaned! Details here: norfolk.gov.uk/libraries-loca…
Some of the delegates are having a tour of the Millennium Library, including our ever-popular Children's Library and here - the 2nd Air Division Memorial Library.
