Listen to the call on 2x speed using the @BorsaHQ app but with the transcript in front of me.
Having both audio and visual helps a lot.
With only visual, I find myself skimming and with only audio, I find my mind drifting.

2/4 Then I copy-paste good quotes/sections into a spreadsheet with different tabs for each company.
Some companies I've been following have the last 10-15 earnings calls with the best sections. There are about 180 tabs from over the years.

3/4 Before going through another earnings call, I try to read through the previous notes to make sure I have context for some finer details (ex. how many $100k+ customers did they add, is that accelerating?)
Most tabs have notes from the annual report at the beginning as well.

4/4 The goal is to capture the relevant information to make the research process more efficient.
