DG NCDC: We have to make it socially unacceptable to be seen outside the home without face masks. We must also discourage one another from mass gatherings that are not necessary. #PTFCOVID19

DG NCDC: That a church or mosque decides to open doesn't make it compulsory for you to attend. Attendance is still a personal responsibility. Even when airlines reopen, we all have to think hard: How important is that trip?

National Coordinator of #PTFCOVID19 speaking on transparency in management of Covid-19 funds - the structures and oversight and accountability processes for the various funding streams.

Aviation Minister on flight that took musician @officialnairam1 to Abuja: We approved a flight, but not for any musician. Flight we approved was to convey a serving Justice from Lagos to Abuja & back for official assignment. We consider Judiciary to be part of essential service.

Minister of Aviation: Approval was for the 14th of June, 2020, with a leeway of 24 hours. The operator - ExecuJet - chose to fly on the 13th at about 6pm (within approved window). But the operation is a clear violation of our approval, which we take very seriously. #PTFCOVID19

Min of Aviation: ExecuJet's operations hereby suspended indefinitely, they will also be fined. Flight Captain will also be sanctioned for supplying wrong information. Since people are not tired of trying our resolve, we will also not be tired of living up to our responsibility.

Minister of Health @DrEOEhanire: Negotiations ongoing with the Resident Doctors to address all the issues they've raised. The Minister of Labour and Employment has been doing a great job. #PTFCOVID19

DG NCDC: Some people are giving fictitious names during Covid-19 testing. #PTFCOVID19

DG NCDC: There's no reason whatsoever to doubt the reality of Covid in Nigeria. In fact we believe there are more cases out there than we've found. Behind each of those numbers we announce daily are people. 4 Governors have themselves announced they've been infected. #PTFCOVID19

National Coordinator: #PTFCOVID19 will support any measures taken by States against any persons who violate guidelines and protocols, and put public health at risk. The responsibility for prosecuting those involved in the Naira Marley concert lies with @OfficialFCTA.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, @GeoffreyOnyeama: Evacuation flights for Nigerians stranded abroad have now resumed, in line with the new protocol (Testing pre- and post-travel, monitored self-quarantine, etc). Recent evacuation flights have come from India and Egypt. #PTFCOVID19
