I voted Lib Dem (despite some misgivings about Policy - because -hey- no party can perfectly reflect ME)

@GuitarMoog But, for instance, I was not comfortable with the UNION policy.

Not because I thought that another referendum for Scotland would be a good thing right now, but because I could see that forcing a country to a state of subjugating its preferences to England (NI/Wales) was unwise.

@GuitarMoog You really helped me separate my reservations about another Independence referendum from the key issue:-

Self determination. NOT being held back by another country that wished to pull in a different direction.

That is one of the reasons why I cannot vote Lib Dem now.

@GuitarMoog I really think that with different leaders in both LD and Labour that things could have been different. Curiously I think that might have been possible with just a different Labour leader (because it is the far bigger party).

@GuitarMoog I don’t think a different LD leader would have made a big enough difference. You can’t be a small EU facing party and align much with a large party whose leader (& thus party polices) is not.

I don’t know how you get over that one. The numbers don’t work.

But I could not see how they would win in that configuration.

That is a little consolation to me

Their starting points and finishing points were too far apart.

@GuitarMoog There is quite a lot of support for SNP south of the border.

But if they want to secure their position maybe they really should broaden their position to a Celtic Strip West of England (but make sure you include Cheltenham) .

That way there WOULD BE the votes.

But step back. Rest. Think how to get what is right by doing things bigger.
