Frankie Pangilinan: The bigger problem is that rape culture is real. 
Pangilinan: Ben Tulfo's comments would not be acceptable in other countries.
Pangilinan: It seems that the first thing was to invalidate everything I have said because of my age.
Pangilinan: I hope people will listen to our struggles. Comments about what women wear gives the false notion that there's something women could have done to stop being raped. The simple truth of the matter is rape would not exist would not rapists.
Pangilinan: Saying the victims could have done something to prevent being raped incredibly invalidating.
Pangilinan: I know what I'm fighting for is fundamentally correct.
Pangilinan: Growing up in this environment has helped me be brave, and I will use that for good as long as I can.
Pangilinan: I feel like people need to start understanding that I don't have my own political loyalties. My own loyalties are to my principles.
Pangilinan: By the time my dad posted against the anti-terror bill I had already posted multiple times about it, and I actually had to double-check if he voted against it.
Pangilinan: I think my parents have been attacked on social media more than I have, but they're more concerned about me.
Pangilinan: Conversations are difficult when they are essential. It alarmed when I saw comments that people were supporting rape culture.
Pangilinan: I respect my elders, but that doesn't mean I should always agree with them. I hope the older generation affords Gen Z that kind of respect.
Pangilinan: I think it should be praiseworthy that people my age are taking a stand.
