Now I’m on this one. The Civil War was Not just about slavery. My Great Great Grandfather immigrated from Bohemia and ended up dying at Shiloh from A Confederate bullet. Was there a Point to his Loss of Life? The Union Put Him There. Lincoln did. Your welcome. Slavery is done.
I’m from the Land of Lincoln. Tell me he wasn’t conflicted about the War where many thousands were killed. Senseless. It didn’t matter. Why not let the South secede? Guess we like oranges, fresh produce and cheap labor making our stuff, fishing the gulf. Slavery with a paycheck.
