Last night there was a toxic event with Chris Williamson, Jackie Walker, Tony Greenstein and Mark Wadsworth. Four of @uklabour's #antisemitism stars. As an added bonus they had conspiracy theorist Max Blumenthal from the States. 1/7
The event was meant to be about 'free speech'. What they meant was freedom to attack the Jews - or in their minds - the invisible and powerful elites that control the world.

In reality the event was all about how antisemitism doesn't exist and Zionists control the world. 2/7
These people are ideologues and they think there message is so clear they cannot fathom why they do not have massive popular support. The idea of a Zionist-funded conspiracy that is out to thwart them becomes a natural conclusion = Antisemitism 3/7
But I want to highlight this exchange that took place in the comment section - that was actively moderated by the hosts.

Someone posted about 'ZOG' the 'Zionist occupied government'. This is blatant neo-Nazi terminology 4/7
One of the watchers noticed - spoke up about the antisemitism and put out a call for the moderator to delete it: 5/7

The moderator Sian Bloor (an ex NEU official) deleted the complaint. This is an ideology that promotes neo-Nazi thought and silences those who complain about it 6/7

Eden Alene is singing Israel's entry in next years Eurovision song contest. She was born in Jerusalem, but both of her parents had immigrated from Ethiopia - fleeing the persecution there. There are about 130,000 Jews of Ethiopian descent in Israel today.

It is Sunday morning, so I want to tell you about a young girl called Huma Younus.

Huma was a 14 year old Pakistani Christian. On 10 October 2019 she was kidnapped by 3 Muslim men from her family home. The police originally refused to take any action.

After her kidnapping Huma was forcibly converted to Islam and at just 14 was married to a much older Muslim man

Huma has failed to appear at court hearings and a local court actually said the marriage was LEGAL because Huma had started started menstruating

A few weeks ago Myra Shehbaz, was walking to work. She was just 14 and one of millions of children who work in Pakistan. She too was Christian.

Myra was forcibly converted to Islam and married to her kidnapper.

How lies work.

In March 1949 the Israelis reached the southern tip - access to the Red Sea - what is now the town of Eilat.

It was empty apart from an abandoned British police station. To the east was the Jordanian fishing village of Akaba. The Jewish forces raised a flag.
The only time in 1000s of years that this desert became associated with the towns in the north - was when the League of Nations used it as part of the lands for the Mandate - for the recreation of a Jewish homeland - the Ottomans ignored it.
The British had considered not including the entire southern region because it had nowt to do with the Syrian Arabs. It was included was to make the Jewish homeland workable. The only people in it were Beduin - around the area of Ber Sheva. 'Palestine' was a colonial construct.
