Billie Career Launch/1: What's the official story? It depends on the interview you watch/read. Collectively, it supposedly boils down to a series of impossible chances aligning, omitted connections, & insane luck for a 'broke' homeschool fan in the suburbs.
2) In one version, her brother wrote it as a song for his band, and found it suited her better. seventeen.com/celebrity/musi…
3) In an amended version, her dance teacher asked them to write a song for him to choreograph a dance to. After uploading it to Sound Cloud it just ‘blew up.’ seventeen.com/celebrity/musi…
4) Keep in mind; Billie injured herself when she was 13 in dance, essentially ruining her dance aspirations. However, she recorded Ocean Eyes when she was 14 for her dance instructor to create a choreographed number for the class she was in…
6) Somehow, she found herself doing the impossible: she suddenly had a manager that had no major clients or experience, yet there were powerful connections, and meetings with almost all of the major music labels were arranged
7) *That part is left out of American articles…I learned that last bit from a Japanese publication that I’m still on the hunt for in order to link it*
8)The main man behind Billie, Justin Lubliner, was ‘given his own imprint with Interscope’ before signing Eilish. Even if he’d brought Billie into Interscope, it would still be unbelievably rare for Interscope to ‘share’ Billie while having to bankroll marketing for her persona
9) Ironically, Justin had pieces of music experience, but nothing that warranted being given his own imprint on a major label. Justin grew up in a privileged NYC family, & went to school with the kids of major entertainment players billboard.com/articles/busin…
10) There's a lot more on Justin, and the bizarre fact that her managers were also new to the industry (one story referenced they were friends of her brother), but that's for another thread...
11 The anomalies of her career boom are so blatant, with such an unusually huge marketing budget from the beginning, that this was anything but a ‘normal’ launch.
12) Before she released her LP, magazine covers and celebrities were constantly reiterating that ‘she’s the next enigma super star that you MUST know about…”
13) There wasn't a magazine that didn't have her on the cover. Every country with Vogue had her on the cover- even China...seriously
14) I think the only person that's been on Ellen more than Billie in the last year is...Ellen. Performances, interviews, surprising fans bit, surprising Melissa, Melissa spoofing 'Bad Guy'...come on.
Seriously...Ellen
15) On Fallon she had performances, interviews, and games...how many singers come on just for an interview? Well, when you still want to push her but her planned single, "All the Good Girls Go to Hell" is loathed, you pretend a 17 yr old can play a game about life experiences
16) Kimmel? of course! Performance, interviews, 'Mean Texts,' and a creepy skit with kids. DANCE PUPPET, DANCE.
17) Late night has to have James Corden, of course! What to do when she doesn't have enough tracks/the voice to do Carpool Karaoke? Stop by her house and play with her spider, obviously. The cringe is strong.
18) If this were Sesame Street, Count Dracula would be telling the interview count to sit & spin by now. There were so many others... Radio1 BBC, Gayle King, Grammy Museum, Howard Stern, ET, Apple, Vanity Fair, even a late night show in Russia!
18b)
19) I'll give this poor girl (that everyone around her sees as an ATM) credit where it's due: most of her visuals would make the exorcist chick ask for Jesus, but she can put on a show. Luckily, she's jumping everywhere & those kids don't care that she barely sings. She played...
19b)...some huge shows: Glastonbury, Summerfest, Coachella, ACL... (tho ACL didn't go so well..ppl were leaving her set and she was majorly eclipsed by the excitement for Lizzo)
20) Like any 'chosen artist' SNL came calling, conveniently right before awards season. 'Bad Guy' was only #1 for a single week, & that was only after a huge campaign to get fans to re-purchase & leave it on streaming repeat. W/o any better known singles, she was stuck...
20b)..whisper singing that dumpster song to a confused crowd. All the PR spin in the world couldn't undo the general public's "wtf was that? was that singing? who dared her to wear that?" reactions. That was a problem, as she was slated for every major award show.
21) After SNL, she performed at the AMAs, Grammys, Oscars (seriously...), and the Brit Awards bc of her new James Bond theme. (Covid-19 happened, so we were mostly spared of that horrifying back room deal painfully saturating our lives)
22) The system worked her like a machine, and they rewarded her with a lot of bogus awards. A way to say 'thanks, kid....and, bye'. 5 Grammys, a Brit Award, an AMA, multiple MTV awards (why is that still around?!) & some steaming pile from Billboard about artist of the year.
23) Added “bonus”...she was suddenly adored by every celebrity. Beloved rockers said she was a ‘genius & the future.’ The younger millennial singers fell in line, lavishing adoration. Lana, Ariana Grande, Justin, Halsey, etc...
23b) Big name celebs heavily doted on her: Ellen, late night hosts, Jlo, Kid Cudi, even Julia Roberts- who was *literally* all over her. (She could be her Gma- it was a disturbing abuse of celebrity, at the very least). Notorious ‘mentor’ to teen celebs, Drake, texts her. FAME.
23c) It seems Julia had a Birdbox blindfold on when it came to including Billie’s brother.
Wait, was she putting her forehead on Billie‘s?! What in the ‘call the FBI’ is going on??
24) You thought we were done? 🤙
Why’d Finneas delete 6,386 tweets from his Twitter last Thurs?!
Why’d they start new accounts around OE’s debut? I thought it was ‘totally unexpected success’?
(Didn’t another celeb delete a bunch of tweets last week, too?🧐)

2) They worried about Trump running for office for a long time.
There’s a reason they modeled it after his casinos... #BackToTheFuture2
3) Unbeknownst to many (& myself until a couple of years ago), Trump & his brother were instrumental in helping Rudy bring down the 5 families & preventing the Atlantic City mafia takeover. They were FBI informants in numerous stings. (S/O to Rex & @DawsonSField digs).
Billie's music & media: Her music videos are startling love notes to mind control, the occult, and demonic nightmares.
2) Let’s hit the songs first, bc she’s a ‘singer,’ right? Handlers, demonic oppression, owing a debt that can only be paid with a life..a living nightmare. “Bury a Friend” is broken down here: vigilantcitizen.com/musicbusiness/…
3) When Billie performs “Bury a Friend” live, she does the ‘Arch of Hysteria’ which is used to represent demonic possession. Unsurprisingly, a creepy artist that will be relevant later as well, made it into an ‘art sculpture‘ owned by Podesta yalebooksblog.co.uk/2013/04/09/mak…
