This basically boils down to "My children socialize effortlessly in diverse settings, and as an upper-middle-class white woman trying to survive a moral panic among my ilk, it makes me uncomfortable that my kids aren't more fucked up in this department, like I am."
In much the same way a recent-ish Slate sex column couldn't even countenance the possibility that maybe some people just aren't into dick, because the wokest 5% have rendered that belief verboten, same here: The idea of just not being obsessed with race isn't an option.
