The next 24 months would entail pitches to about 600 diff people and perhaps a 1000 meetings in total to raise a (now) paltry (and then, a princely sum of) INR 100cr (about 75 individual names)

We always said what we believed then - raising such a brute force fund - in that era - 💯 % domestic capital, was a unique exercise in fund sales/mktg.
As we close in on the end of decade 1, we directly manage about 15x the AUM as we did back then.
