This is my story of how Tong Lee, owner of The Chewy Boba Co. USF, continuously verbally assaulted me back in 2013 - a thread.

I saw Mel Gibson was trending and a tweet triggered tf out of me.
Tong Lee from The Chewy Boba Company USF in Tampa, Florida was violently verbally abusive to me. He once got angry because I was late coming out of work and he was supposed to drive me home. (1)

On the car ride home, he told me next time I was late, he would make me walk home and that he hoped I would "get gangraped by a group of black dudes." He also yelled at me for making one of *his* guests a sandwich because the kid said he was hungry and I was just that kind of (2)

person. Tong helped me buy those groceries and I had already agreed that I would pay him back, but he was upset i was sharing food, I guess. I had moved from out of the country back into the States and I was living with him because he was my family on my dad's side. (3)

On another occasion, he had guests over that I had gotten to know. They were gaming in the common room and I came out because I wanted to socialize, be around people, and i took my book with me. When Tong saw that his friends were coming over to interact with me, he told me (4)

that I was an attention whore and that there was no reason for me to come out except for that I was an attention whore.
These scenarios all happened when I was 19, back in 2013. Im sure there were other situations, but I dont exactly remember what happened so I won't get into (5)

them because I dont want to mess up any details. He is notoriously abusive to everyone, but since he's a business owner and hooks up his friends, as well as hosting video game tournaments and apparently a big name in the Tampa gaming community, it seems as though everyone (6)

is afraid to confront him. He's a big guy, did wrestling and football in high school, and is intimidating-- and he loves that. I'll be honest and say that I dont have any proof, because it never occurred to me to record these things and they happened so randomly (7)

All I have to back me up are my PTSD episodes and nightmares. There are other people who have witnessed and/or been a victim to his cruel treatment, but Im not sure if theyre willing to come forward. Ive kept this inside me and Im afraid to tell this to the world, but (8)

I want people, even if theyre strangers, to know that he is a violent and toxic person. His outbursts are violent, random, and he'll do it in the presence of others. He is the type of person who won't stop until he sees you crying. Ive since moved and have not seen him (9)

nor have any interest in seeing him ever again in my lifetime, but I need to get this off my chest. I havent divulged these details to anyone but my dad and another friend, not that it matters, since there have been plenty of witnesses every time except in the car with the (10)

racist gangrape comment. Please do not support him, his business or affiliated organizations. It makes me sick to my stomach when I see anything referring to him and I truly fear for my wellbeing as well as not wanting to trigger myself more by trying to search for his (11)
