Today he’s filing a brief in the Supreme Court to end the ACA & take health care coverage away from 20 million people.
How confident is everyone in their employer based insurance?

If Trump is successful, besides poverty, that’s all you’d have if Trump gets his way.
How confident are you in your insurance company to cover pre-existing conditions?

If Trump has his way, it’s up to them.
How confident are you that you won’t have a pre-existing condition after the pandemic? Or that your tests, treatment, and vaccines will be paid for?

If Trump has his way, coverage won’t be required.
How confident are seniors in drug companies to reduce their prices so your medicine is affordable?

If Trump has his way, the “donut hole” savings goes away.
How much do you think the top 0.1% should get a $198,000/year tax cut right now.

If Trump has his way, coverage cuts will also mean high income tax cuts.
How comfortable are you with worsening the health disparities for black & brown Americans?

If Trump has his way that’s exactly what happens.
How comfortable are you that Trump aims to end free preventive services (including vaccines) & allow the imposition of lifetime policy limits & the ability to retroactively end your policy.

If Trump has his way, that’s what happens.
Is now the time to end requirements that insurance companies cover kids until age 26?

If Trump has his way that’s what happens.
Are you OK with Trump ending small business tax credits to cover workers?

If Trump has his way, that’s what happens.
Is now a good time to double the amount of uncompensated care to doctors & hospitals?

If Trump has his way, that’s what happens.

Three Dukes, vying for the favor of the King, see who can sacrifice the peasants in the realm rather than call the King a liar. 2/
The Dukes each had many chances to stop a great plague. Other Dukes told them “this plague is terrible. People die. Many suffer. But you can prevent it. Wear the masks. Be careful.”

But the King said there was nothing to worry about. And so they laughed off the other Dukes. 3/

COVID: Everyone should not have to know someone personally who has died or been seriously ill from COVID-19 for the US to finally do the right thing.

Why do we have to be experiential learners? It’s not like we don’t understand what a virus does. 1/
The fact that there is a “you’re making too much of a global pandemic” cult in our country is ... odd.

We may not be the only country with a group with that mindset, but it often seems like it. And we may the only one where the ringleader is the head of state. 2/
There is of course a reasonable conversation to be had about how to balance people’s income & health during the pandemic.

COVID Update June 23: Trump sees nothing but good news in the Coronavirus.

Unlike other world leaders with better health & economic results who aim to limit death & economic loss with masks & other containment, Trump’s approach is a mix of lying, denial & spin. 1/
His latest “I’ll say anything” is that we should stop testing to reduce cases (he insists he’s not joking & is actually reducing testing sites) & that the death rate is declining.

Don’t celebrate just yet.2/
We’ve been at the train stop called “Abject Denial” back in February as cases went undetected through the community.

Then, we didn’t test because Trump wouldn’t prepare & we couldn’t see the deaths about to come. Now it’s willful, he‘s telling supporters not to get tested. 3/
