Do you want sauce with that? Fish sauce, Garum that is... One of the mosaics from the impluvium of the House of Aulus Umbricius Scaurus, Pompeii (7.16.15), showing an urceus of his garum.

The inscription reads as:

"G(ari. F(los) SCOM[bri] SCAURI EX OFFI[ci]NA SCAURI"

'The flower of Scaurus' mackerel garum, from the factory of Scaurus'
Martial (13.102) describes Garum as a delicacy:

Expirantis adhuc scombri de sanguine primo
Accipe fastosum, munera cara, garum.

'Receive lordly garum, an expensive present, from the first blood of a mackerel still breathing its last.'

The provenance of this piece is not clear, although its small size (7.9 cm high) is suggestive that it may originally have been a an attachment to a large bronze vessel.
Certainly as early as the seventh century BC, griffin heads were used as decorative elements on cauldrons. This example is particularly fine, found in the bed of the Kladeos river at Olympia in 1914, associated with the sanctuary of Zeus.

Ancient Coin of the Day: A cracking example of Persian satrapal coinage - a silver stater minted by the satrap Tiribazus, ca. 387-380 BC. #ACOTD #Persia

Tiribazus produced coins of this design at four mints, Mallos, Issos, Tarsus, and Soli, though issues from the first two are the more common. The Obverse shows Ahuramazda holding a flower (perhaps a lotus) in the right hand, a wreath in the left.
The Reverse shows a standing male divinity, who has been interpreted as being either Baal or Zeus, the iconography being similar between the two, although a standing Baal figure is again less common.

Ancient Artefact of the Day: The Artemision Bronze, ca. 460 BC - one of the most famous bronzes to survive from the ancient world, recovered off Cape Artemision, the northern point of Euboea. #AAOTD

At slightly larger than life-size (2.09m high), the clear musculature and full-bearded face are splendidly executed, though the figure is perhaps best viewed in silhouette, as the depiction does seem to telescope from other perspectives.
For much of the study of the piece, there was much debate whether the figure depicted was a Poseidon hurling a trident, or a Zeus hurling a thunderbolt - as both the size and appearance suggest a divinity rather than a mortal athlete.
