1. Propaganda stunt or not, it is nice to see the US government being called to explain and defend itself for the unacceptable interference in a foreign sovereign country.

Seems to be the time for the chips fall where they may.

2. As many Latin Americans I resent the US government for not apologizing and making serious amends given the results of its interference in our countries during the 60s and 70s: the right wing extremist dictatorships.
3. I am one of the thousands who questions the legitimacy of US special status in the present global order. I am one of the people who radically opposes any foreign interference anywhere.
4. Anything threatening "American interests" in foreign soil justifies nothing on the part of the US government: it's on foreign soil, if they want to take it, all you can do is shut up. Why was that "interest" there in the first place?
5. Finally, also like thousands, I believe that either everybody or nobody should have nuclear weapons.
6. As long as the US government engages in terrorist attacks in foreign soil against sovereign nations, or against foreign citizens seeking asylum (the concentration camps), the US government should respond for its actions to all nations and commit to radical changes.
7. Either it does that or the US will lose any sympathy if it suffers terrorist attacks from radicalized groups from nations presently or previously occupied or exploited by its government.
8. Finally, this mess will be complicated to clean and was brewing for a while.
