Then I posted a note about my town’s namesake. Things changed. 
Then someone threw out a red herring. But I left it up because this is intended to be a #dundasdialogue
So we made sure to introduce ourselves, and kept the dialogue going. I posted this in a local sub-reddit and local news outlets did a couple of pieces.
...I refused to comment on the name change issue (#redherring) and refused to have my pic taken for the stories. Not the point. Then others started to show support.
...and then another kind of person showed up.
That same day I got an anonymous email through my website telling me to Fuck Off. ...
Nah.
Nah.
Which leads us to today... this racist can fuck right off with their DARVO fragility.
Ignorance is curable. And I’ve got the tools and tenacity. Bring it in racists. I’m in for the long haul.
