I used to buy the Styx argument about the dinosaur media going extinct. While I now find it a bit overblown, even Tucker (one of the more popular shows) only averages 2-3 million viewers typically. CNN much less. But the Internet has now been co-opted/is the new dinosaur media.
YouTube now shills the dinosaur networks (CNN, MSNBC shot to top by algorithm despite no one watching them) & alternatives banned.

So now what lol?
That was always the fear: that the new freedom provided by internet companies would simply jump into the dinosaur media role as the controllers. And so it is.
So much for that hope I guess.

A point to keep in my mind for those who still wonder about what comes “post-Trump”: Donald Trump is an incredibly stupid person. Having someone do the bit but not be mentally handicapped is a huge step in the right direction (hence the fawning over Tucker)
The media has been very unfair to the president but I don’t think it’s buying into their scam to notice Trump has had plenty of his own unforced errors & absolutely needless political bungles.

Much like “Trump could only win cause it was Hillary”, Joe might only win cause Trump.
It won’t always be someone as dumb as Trump tho. Someone with a bit more tact could potentially do more.

Another six part documentary. “The Death of Yugoslavia”. Episode 1: Enter Nationalism.
First thing that strikes me as far as comparisons to US: Yugo was multiethnic country held together by iron fist (US has no iron fist) & problems arose when largest ethnic group (Serbs) got uppity & govt broke policy by addressing them as a bloc (was politically forbidden)
As far as the US context: the largest group (Whites or even a subset of non-lib Whites) don’t have any demands/cohesion in those terms. And I’m doubtful they ever will. So the US “works” in that Whites will meekly keep head down, pay taxes, let other peoples do ethnic politics.

Watching the BBC’s six party documentary on the Spanish Civil War. I won’t finish it all tonight.
First thing that strikes me is how inapt comparisons are to modern US in two ways: 1) our “revolution” is much more cringe (gentleman interviewed said it was for working class) & 2) if it is analogous to US, it’s going to be so much worse here. Cause demands can’t be met.
The whole point of today’s thing is entirely fictional & is just hatred of White people. Not something you can just solve with getting elites to give the poor & working some extra bread. You can’t compromise on “we want to abolish you completely.” If it blows it’ll be bad.
