Of Dems' AM briefing on Russia bounties, House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff said "the right people to give the briefing really were not in the room. We need to hear from the heads of the intelligence agencies." Says Dems continue to request all-member and Gang of 8 briefing.
Of the intel: "[Y]ou don't deprive the president of information he needs to keep the troops safe because you don't have it signed, sealed and delivered... if you're going to be on the phone with Vladimir Putin, this is something you ought to know whether it's caveated or not"
Of briefing Trump: "It's not a justification to say that the President should have read whatever materials he has. If he doesn't read, he doesn’t read, they should know that by now... [it] needs to be shared with him in the form that he takes it."
