Train 113 left Farragut North headed toward Dupont at 2:36. We got about 6 cars off the platform and stopped. The operator said there was a red signal ahead.
After 4 mins, we moved up half a train length.
Then after about 2 minutes, he announced he was leaving the train because "there is a problem with the railroad".
That was the last announcement.
At about 2:55, a Transit Police officer walked through the train heading forward, but didn't say anything.
There was no apology from the operator or any acknowledgement of anything abnormal.
If there had been any warning about the upcoming delay, I would've gotten off at Farragut North.
