Folks... a person who is NOT sick does NOT need to wear a mask. The virus travels in the AIR and the EYES are a vector for infection. So a healthy person with a mask on traveling through a cough, sneeze or scream cloud of viral particles WON'T stop the virus from eye contact. -VJ
Furthermore... in addition to what I stated above, President Trump is tested daily. If he's NOT sick, he doesn't need to protect others from his spit droplets. Masks are to keep the spit droplets LOCALIZED around the mouth of the sick person so they don't go airborne. -VJ
People keep beating this drum that President Trump should wear a mask to lead by example. Example of what? If he's WELL but wears a mask he's being a POOR example because he's giving the impression that WELL people can be protected by a mask. Without goggles, they can't. -VJ
In addition... if masks could keep well people from getting sick, you wouldn't see healthcare workers dressed up like a mummy with goggles and face shields. They do that because the EYES are a vector for the virus to enter. Masks stop SICK people's particles going airborne. -VJ
