- Attacks a female CEO out of the blue
- Made a factual error (@stephkorey is still Away CEO!)
- Violated NYT social media guidelines
- Then omits her own attack & plays victim (archive.is/rU1Oa)
This is how it works. These "journalists" are sociopaths.

Treat people with respect, and they will be respectful.
But insult someone and prepare to be insulted back!
And no, employees of media corporations aren't exempt from standards of civility. We're all equal, all citizen journalists now.
- "journalist" attacks someone
- you defend them
- "journalist" omits their original attack
- ...and pretends they're the victim!
- then tries to go after your job or company
This doesn't affect me at all. But this is what they do to you.
So it's completely fair to ask @CorbettNYT & @deanbaquet why Lorenz flagrantly violated NYT social media guidelines.
"Always treat others with respect on social media."
Did she treat Korey with respect?
nytimes.com/2017/10/13/rea…

- Every citizen is now equal to a journalist
- Every company is now a media company
- There are no double standards anymore
- And @TaylorLorenz should apologize to @stephkorey
If you treat people with respect, you'll be treated with respect. And conversely.
Employees of media corporations will often distort you if you talk to them. Just go direct if you have something to say.
