W/ this Admin AWOL on providing clear direction, it’s been hard to decide what’s OK as we open up. There's no right answer; you just need to know the risks. So, @SaskiaPopescu, @DrPhillipsMD, and I developed a COVID-19 Risk Index. Please share this widely. ezekielemanuel.com/writing/all-ar…
And you need to take into account your own health and those in your household (i.e. any underlying conditions) -- and make sure to obey any local mandates/guidance on what is allowed. 2/
With that in mind, low-risk #COVIDー19 activities include walking, running, biking outside, or outdoor picnics at a distance. And, of course, staying at home with your family. 3/
Medium-to-low risk during the #COVIDー19 pandemic include retail shopping and playing “distanced” sports outside, like tennis or golf. 4/
Medium-risk activities include:

- Visiting the hospital emergency department
- Medical / dentist appointment
- Museums
- Sharing a taxi or taking a ride-sharing service like @uber or @lyft

5/
Exercising at a gym, getting your hair or nails done, gathering in an office or indoor restaurant, these all involve spending a prolonged period inside or at close distance, which makes them medium-to-high risk for exposure to #COVIDー19. 6/
Lastly, HIGH-risk activities for #COVIDー19 exposure include concerts, contact sports, and taking public transportation. 7/
Again, we created this #COVID19 Risk Index to be shared and to be helpful! RT, re-post, email, print and hang this on your fridge.

And don't forget to wear a mask, keep distance -- especially this #FourthofJuly holiday weekend.
