What @politicalelle is worried about here is already happening. Let's look at an essay by Amia Srinivasan, Chichele Professor of Social and Political Theory at the University of Oxford University
2/
Amia Srivivasan begins by taking as obvious the idea that sexual desire is shaped by ideology. That is, she is taking the central point that people might reject and taking it as obvious.
3/
She then moves on to discussing how male desire is shaped by politics. Again: the notion here is that the sexual desire of men is a matter of politics and not, say, biology.
4/
Next, she moves on to women and flat out says that the "free sezual choices" of women are rarely free. Why? Because patriarchy of course!
The idea here is postmodern one about discourses (ways we talk about and discuss things as a society) under patriarchy...
5/
And the idea here is that the language, concepts, and values, contained in how our society talks about sex have "white western heterosexual male" assumptions baked into them that influence people's sexual preferences. And what that means is...
6/
They think the reason a heterosexual man doesn't want to have sex with a pre-operative Transwomen is definatly because the way our society talks about sex has brainwashed him with socialization to be transphobic, and definatly not because that person has a penis and testicles
7/
The same goes for lesbians who are engaged in the apparantly political decision to not have sex with some transwomen because they have penises...which is the exact same reason they won't have sex with men: they're lesbians.
Remember, this woman teaches at Oxford
8/ If you want to know how this woman can think a woman can have a penis and then call a lesbian a bigot for not agreeing here you go:
9/
Srinivasan finishes up strong by reminding us that who we desire is a political question amd that our preferences are bigoted. Again, forget biology and "the heart wants what it wants," everything including dating, is political.
10/
So yeah, it's here @politicalelle
Social Justice people are already doing this, and they are beginning to shame people for not being attracted to every group you can imagine totally equally

PS. I did a thread exploring their gender theory here:
