Everything I have been saying since March. Our public health is based on scaring people into compliance, and lying where necessary. In the long term, this is leading to all kinds of other issues, including a loss of trust in science.
Once that trust is lost, people will begin questioning everything. Past wins will be lost. Soon people will begin denying climate science, next up, vaccines. Way to manage public health.
What we need is an honest and transparent reporting of facts, and facts only. Not fairytales and fear mongering. Not sensationalism. Many parents are terrified if sending their kids to school, despite flu being more dangerous to kids. Who will this harm in the long term?
Let me tell you who: it will harm you, and me, and your child, and everyone in this society. If you want to see someone who was directly harmed by this narrative, and resulting lockdown, don't go far, just look in the mirror. (End)
