May 21, 2018: IEC announces purchase of #WAFC from the Whelan family for £15.9m plus taking over existing loans of £6.5m.
8 June 2018, three weeks after acquiring Wigan, IEC announce a profits warning. #WAFC
12 June 2018, IEC announce a delay in sending out the details of the Wigan takeover to shareholders.
22 June 2018, IEC announce losses of HK$67m (approx. £6.5m) for year ended 31 March 2018, which makes it odd they are buying a loss making football club. #WAFC #Latics
28 August 2018 IEC announces purchase of Lucky Genius Ltd, a poker company
31 August and 21 September 2018, IEC announces further delay in details about the Wigan acquisition
9 October 2018, IEC gives further details of the Wigan takeover, including commiting to repaying a £4m loan from Barclays by putting in loan finance itself.
7 November 2018. IEC confirms deal completed. Major changes in the boardroom of Wigan Athletic Holdings. at Companies House in UK. Issues new shares
19 November Wigan Athletic Holdings name changed
21 November 2018 IEC reverses profit warning from June.
29 Nov 2018 IEC announces profits of HK14.6m (£1.4m) for six months to 30 Sep 2018
30 Jan 2019: Wigan Athletic Holdings auditors resign
1 March 2019: Wigan Athletic Holdings announce record losses of over £17m for the previous season.
29 May 2019 IEC announce increased revenues and small profit for year ended 31 March 2019. These include Wigan's contribution since November 2018.
1 June 2019, another name change for Wigan
17 July 2019 New controlling company announced
25 September 2019 IEC announce losses of HK$77m for 15 months to 30 June 2019
18 November 2019 IEC announces possible sale of Wigan to NLL, 51% controlled by Choi Stanley, main shareholder of IEC
14 February 2020 Wigan sale terms agreed at £17.5m, representing a £1.6m profit by IEC. IEC also confirm they have lent about £25m to #WAFC
25 Feb IEC announce further losses of HK$49m (£5m) for second half of 2019
2 March 2020 IEC announce delay in sale details to shareholders in relation to WIgan
30 March 2020 Wigan announce losses of £9m for 2018/19, which would have been worse had it not been for sale of Will Grigg. Everyone laughs at Donald & Methven from Sunderland for signing him.
17 April 2020 further delay in sale details to shareholders from IEC
29 May 2020 IEC announces completion of Wigan sale to NLL and confirms that loan o24m repaid on that datee too, how andet
30 May Au Yeung amongst names of new directors.
IEC announce expansion plans in Phillipines
30 June Au Yeung announced as having control of Wigan from 24 June
1 July administrators appointed at Wigan.
