I have, as you know, stated that it has become impossible to defend the accusation that the ANC is an organization of thieves and gangsters. After reading the report of the AGSA this weekend, I'm filled with revulsion at the impunity behind the looting.
The scale and the impunity of looting is incomprehensible and pure evil. I have not heard the President publicly condemn any one of them in specific terms. Why??

His primary mission and mandate is to articulate a clear and shared vision for SA and how to get there within a specified estimate. He's unable to do this because he is shackled by the Tripartite Alliance. They own him. They put him there. SA comes 2nd to him
He expressed surprise that SA does not have a capable state. What was he doing as No 2 to JZ? Lethuli house has just demonstrated who is in charge by reinstating people who are clearly implicated in the VBS looting. His authority is gone.
The question of whether SA can have a capable state is argued comprehensively in my next book available mid August. It goes on social media mid July. The ANC is prone to listen to their own but I hope President Ramaphosa will find time to read it.
The frightening g question we must confront is whether another wates decade is avoidable. I argue that it is not. And the main reason is that Ramaphosa does Not posses what it takes to lead SA out of the current morass. He lacks required backbone.
