4⃣ Wielding purchasing power to generate demand – and thus support recovery – whilst also shaping supply – therefore developing reform. The public pound should do double duty: buying much-needed goods and services,
whilst delivering social, economic and environmental benefit👇

5⃣ Placing workers front and centre of the economic recovery. Expanding employment programmes, collaborating with other local anchor institutions and ensuring that local workers are upskilled to
meet the challenges and support the sectors of the future 👇
