-In 2005, when I was a parliamentary journalist in Iran, I was kicked out for exposing the pay slips of MPs. They hated me so much that at the front page of their newspapers, they called me "the ugly duckling". Clearly, they didn't want people to know how much they earned.
-Their insults of me took all forms. Simply because I exposed how much money these MPs were earning, I was also called "traitor", "corrupt woman", "whore".
- Many MPs are plundering the wealth of the nation while ordinary Iranians live in poverty

Jalali, the MP from the city of Rafsanjan, revealed that last month he earned more than 231 million tomans. This is while minimum wage of a worker in Iran is less than 800 thousand tomans
-It was the Zanan magazine that gave me the opportunity to laugh at these MPs who called me "ugly duckling". The Zanan magazine supported me.
