📋 Examples

Virtually every client biz can benefit from Scorecarding:

-Consolidate info reptg
-Keep EEs aligned with expectations
-Shorten feedback loops
-Customer-facing reports
Scorecards can be issued via different:

-Scopes - Company-wide, dept, EE
-Frequencies - Monthly, weekly, daily
-Delivery methods - Email, SMS, Slack/Teams, physical
🔨 How to build it

Use @bannerbearhq or @formstackdocs to generate reports, pulling data in via @zapier or @integromat

Build out doc templates, and wire up data. Re-use templates across your client base.
Set conditional formats to create the illusion of dynamic doc:

-Flip green arrow up to red arrow dn if a condition is met
-Text that only appears in certain scenarios
-Dynamic star, thumbs-up or letter grading
The reality is most operational data won't be living in a cloud-based system with a nice API.

To work around this, use client-facing forms to gather the necessary information, and trigger a new report.

For example, this report section can be triggered with a 4 question form.
🤝Onboarding

Use a simple form to gather the necessary details surrounding each Scorecard request. Example: jstaatswork.typeform.com/to/kL5MwnnT

Put together a couple of examples, and schedule a follow-up call.
📣Sales channel

-Sales funnel on website
-Webinar - Why every biz in X niche needs Scorecarding
-Whitepaper - How X boosted Y by Z with Scorecarding

Create very basic, free Scorecarding resources in Excel. Solve for anything but the most basic use-cases with your paid plan.
Fee structure:

-Minimum entry point of X hundred dollars/mo
-This minimum entry goes up to X reports/mo
-$X per report after that
-An additional price break for high-volume users

Make it cheap enough to encourage frequent, employee-level reporting.
👹Arguments against

-It's outside my comfort zone
-I'm not a tech company
-Sounds like a lot of work to set up
🏆Arguments for

-Begin the transition from service income to product income
-A product best sold by your most trusted advisor, not SAAS co X
-Get away from selling time
-Fresh organizational expertise
Onboard 20 clients at an average of $400/mo to reach $100k; The equivalent of 4 months of billable hours at $150/hr.

What sort of investment would you make in a service that will earn that return while you sleep?
