House Intel Chair Schiff: “Facebook’s removal of a network of inauthentic accounts and pages linked to Roger Stone is a reminder that foreign adversaries aren’t the only bad actors willing to hide behind fake profiles..."
Schiff: "...in order to manipulate our online political discourse or advance a self-serving agenda to affect the course of a U.S. election.“
Intel Chair Schiff: “Mr. Stone lied before our Committee and was justly convicted for that crime, and yesterday’s revelations about this nefarious online activity reinforce that when it comes to Mr. Stone and his associates, dishonesty and deception are to be expected.”
Schiff: "Separate and apart from this, with Mr. Stone scheduled to report to serve his sentence next week, there have been reports that the President is considering a pardon — something he has repeatedly and publicly dangled."
Schiff: "Mr. Stone’s lies to the Committee were in the service of protecting President Trump and concealing his efforts to obtain advance notice and make use of documents hacked by Russian intelligence services to his advantage in the 2016 campaign."
