Sambit Patra's electoral fraud:

Read on to know how Patra hid assets on his election affidavit. Patra is a shareholder in a company (founded by him) & has not declared those assets.

This offense attracts a disqualification from voting and contesting elections for 6 years

In 2010, Patra founded a "company" called Centre For Holistic Advancement And Upliftment of Poor & Landless.

Patra was the promoter of this company as revealed from 2010 company filings

In March 2019, Patra resigned as a Director from the company (as well as from the board of ONGC) to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Puri, Odisha.

Here's a copy of his resignation letter as well the company's shareholding pattern where he's shareholder number 1.

But wait a minute: Patra's election affidavit from Puri makes NO MENTION of his shares in this company or their value.

I looked for previous years and this company doesn't reflect in his 2012 Delhi MCD elections affidavit from Kashmere Gate either.

In Lok Prahari vs Union of India, SC held that "non-disclosure" of assets is a corrupt practice under Section 123(2) of the Representation of People Act.

I'm petitioning the Election Commission to probe Sambit Patra & ban him from voting/contesting elections for 6 years.

This is merely the tip of the iceberg.

Sambit Patra's company is extremely dodgy & there's a lot of muck there which goes right up to the top of the Narendra Modi govt.

They know what I'm talking about.
