@Itishree001 @punarutthana To my knowledge Gomukhs refer to a place where holy waters spring forth. For eg- Gomukha tirtha in Mount Girnar (gujrat) where water flows and fills a tank called Gomukhi Ganga. In Mt Abu there is Gomukh Kund, the origin of Saraswathi.
@Itishree001 @punarutthana In Omkareshwara rivulet enters Gomukh ghat flowing through the mouth of brass cow's head and passing through a linga on its way. Besides Gomukh is a prominent ft in every Siva temple, through which water flows( after poured on the linga) into the hands of devotees
