A glimmer of hope -- Lindsey Graham says he's trying to declassify a 40-page memo on the FBI's interview with Christopher Steele's primary dossier source.

FBI's tight-lipped on the source, and has rejected FOIA requests for documents.

Graham revealed in an interview with Trey Gowdy that his staff has now seen the classified memo, and that he's pushing for it to be declassified.

I have CNN on in the background and faintly hear the anchor haranguing someone over coronavirus, so I assume the guy must be a conservative.
It was the easiest guess in the world. But the guest was Alabama Sec. of State John Merrill (R).

Trump and his allies are very critical of Sessions for recusing. On the one hand, they forget that Sessions was also targeted by McCabe in a baseless investigation. On the other, Sessions could have resigned, but didn’t.
Resignation was fraught with its own problems as well. If Trump accepted a resignation it would have been seen as him forcing Sessions out.
Sessions offered to resign, but Trump supposedly rejected it.

The FBI memo opening Crossfire Hurricane (which @JudicialWatch published) has something interesting in it.

We’ve always heard that the memo was based on Downer’s tip about Papadopoulos and Russia.

But the section above blocks out the identity of a country. Weird because the memo names Russia elsewhere.
That section also suggests something about the government trying to establish ties w/ Trump team for post election.

Downer has never said that Papadopoulos made that claim about Russia.
