Insane amount of gas but the crowd didn’t go far—essentially just out of the massive cloud’s reach. To reiterate: this was 1000% accelerated by law enforcement.

Cops retreat into the JC (why come out?) and I realize I’ve been holding my breath for quite a while. Small crowd is growing here, big group near riot ribs outside of the gas cloud and apparently another group went to Ted Wheeler’s abode, one assumes to wish him good tidings.

Super chill scene with lots of impassioned speakers. The streets and the park are totally packed. As usual there are several folks picking up trash, as usual the park is clean other than graffiti.

A quick note: "Athena" isn't white. I'm told they are the child of immigrant parents and though I haven't confirmed that she most assuredly isn't white. It's great there is so much conversation around this but it's also great to know of what you speak.
